Schalette Poteat 4007 Vine Street Capitol Heights, MD 20743 PO Box 1265 Lincoln University, PA 19352 [email protected] As a senior at Lincoln University, who will be graduating on May 7, 2000 with the first class of the New Millenium, I realize the importance of education in achieving my goals. While matriculating at Lincoln University, I have majored in English with minors in Black Studies and Religion. These three subjects will be very useful in my future career as a Civil Rights Attorney. At the present time, I am looking for employment with the Prince George's County or District of Colombia Public School Systems as a High School English instructor. It is my dream to inspire young adults to love reading and writing just as I was inspired to do so. While working as a teacher, I will be attending one of the Washington Metropolitan Area law schools on a part-time basis to receive my Juris Doctorate. Being aware of the competitive recruiting standards for new teachers, I am also open to other employment opportunities. Any job that will utilize the skills that I have highlighted in my resume (which is displayed below) will be ideal. Feel free to e-mail me at the address above. Sincerely, Schalette Poteat
